South Carolina & Georgia House Calls Partners with Microsoft for Call Center Solution

Graphic of a network of people connected
The South Carolina & Georgia House Calls (SC & GA HC) call center comprises multiple disciplines working in tandem to provide in-home and telehealth services throughout its region. With continued growth in call volume, it became imperative to find a solution to combine the latest technology and features to improve the customer experience.
In addition to the daily activities of registering new patients and scheduling appointments, the call center provides management and oversight for the SC & GA HC Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. RPM coordinators daily monitor patient vitals and report changes to their responsible provider. The early detection of problems using RPM technology allows providers to address issues in a timelier manner, thereby reducing the chance of more serious problems developing.
Mike Nelson, Director of IT for LTC Management, who worked closely with the integration, stated, “a lot of work and research went into the selection of the Microsoft Teams solution, our need to increase efficiency, along with an ability for employees to work remotely was of paramount importance. With the system now live, early reviews have been encouraging with significant reductions in hold times and a higher rate of positive patient feedback.”
SC House Calls & GA House Calls is a network of over 250 medical professionals providing In-home medical house calls and Telehealth visits to Private Residences, Assisted Living Communities, and Skilled Nursing Facilities. SC House Calls serves all 46 Counties of South Carolina. New patient registration, appointments, and 24-7 access to medical professionals is available through its Center for Telehealth @ 800-491-0909
